Snow over hills, rainfall likely

The met office on Monday forecast rain with snowfall over the hills of Malakand and Hazara divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan/Kashmir in the next 24 hours. It says rain/snow is likely at few places of Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions on Monday night. However, it says cold and dry weather is expected to prevail in rest of the country on Tuesday.
It says, 'westerly trough is affecting upper western parts of the country.' Isolated rain/snow fell in Quetta and Kalat divisions during last 24 hours but weather remained cold and dry elsewhere in the country, adding "Kalat received 8mm and Quetta 1mm rain."
It says lowest temperature was recorded in Kalam minus 15 degree centigrade, Parachinar minus 11 degree centigrade, Astore minus 10 degree centigrade, Skardu minus 9 degree centigrade, Hunza and Gupis minus 7 degree centigrade each. Karachi weather is expected to be dry with minimum temperature between 10 degree centigrade and 12 degree centigrade in the next 24 hours.
