Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to register strong protest in National Assembly today (Wednesday) against the increase in petroleum products' prices. Sources in PML-N said that the party would register strong protest in the House against the increase in petrol price by Rs 5.37, Hi-Octane Rs 6.29 per litre, high speed diesel (HSD) Rs 4.64 per litre, kerosene oil Rs 2.78 per litre and light diesel oil (LDO) Rs 3.43 per litre.
They said the PML-N leadership considers the decision's as petrol bomb on the poor masses, already confronting the skyrocketing price hike. Under the strategy, the sources said that Opposition leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will speak on point of order to present the PML-N viewpoint over the issue and party's parliamentarians would likely stage a walk out from the House. The Upper House of the Parliament will start its 39th session on February 01 at 5:00 pm.
