Federal Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said on Friday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) respects judiciary. Speaking to the media representatives at Lahore Airport, Mukhtar said that the PPP leadership was not afraid of courts. According to him, the prime minister had spent many years in imprisonment and that he was not afraid of jails, adding that PM respects the judiciary and will appear before the Supreme Court.
He termed the Memo issue as the most significant. He criticised the Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif for not taking any more interest in the Memo case and said that the opposition leader left for London after raising the issue. Regarding the PIA affairs, he said that the government was trying to resolve the issues of the airlines employees.
