Two gunned down in Karachi

Two persons were killed in separate acts of violence in various parts of the city, on Saturday. According to police, a watchman was shot dead at Gulistan-e-Jauhar in the limits of Sharah Faisal police station. The incident took place at Bismah Garden in Block 13, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where the watchman Sardar Mohammad, 35 son of Roshan Ali was targeted by unidentified armed riders.
Resultantly, Sardar received a single bullet on his head and died on the spot. The culprits managed to flee after committing the crime. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities.
Police said the victim, who hailed from district Dheer Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, arrived at Karachi a week ago. Later, his body was moved to his hometown. No case was registered till filing of this report. In another incident, a young man was gunned down at Ittehad Town, Baldia in the limits of Mochko police station.
The victim, who was identified as 26-year-old Shireen Gul son of Bakht Gul, a resident of Ittehad Town received two bullets and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. SHO Nasir Mehmood said the victim, who hailed from Kohat, might have been killed over personal enmity. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) and later handed over to his family. No case was registered till filing of this report.
