PIC scandal: foreign laboratories declare four tablets as usable

A spokesman of the health department has said that the UK and Swiss laboratories have declared some cardio-medicines as usable, which were sent to them for drug test. According to the report, tablets Atenolol (Zafa Pharma Karachi), Solprin (Pharmawise, Lahore), Cardiovastin (Mega Pharmaceutical Lahore) and Corcont (Swiss Pharmaceutical, Karachi) are usable, as no health hazard contents were found in those tablets.
A spokesman of the Punjab Health Department said people could also take guidance from health department's helpline numbers 042-99200688-99200049-0800-99000.
