Consul General of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Suhail Bin Matar Al Ketbi has informed the business community that the ministry of foreign affairs UAE will start issuing one-year multi entry visa to businessmen soon. Speaking at a meeting held at resident of Honorary Consul General of Mozambique and Vice President FPCCI, Khalid Tawab, he said that efforts were being made to increase bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
He said that UAE single country exhibition held in November 2011 was successful and assured that it would be made a regular feature. UAE investors were making investment in Pakistan in various sectors, he said, adding that the investment would further increase with the passage of time.
He said that there was huge potential to have joint ventures with Pakistan counterparts in different areas. President Indo Pak Chamber of Commerce, S. M. Munir stressed the need for frequent exchange of businessmen to boost bilateral trade. The consul general UAE said that there were various areas where UAE investors could make investment to establish food processing units.
