MoUs signed with Iran to strengthen ties: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Information and Culture, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that MoUs and agreements signed during the recent visit to Iran in different sectors would further strengthen the existing relations between the both Islamic countries.
He added that a high powered committee has been formed under his chairmanship to give practical shape to these MoUs and agreements. This, he said while addressing media persons on eve of the 33rd anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and unity week arranged by the Iranian Consulate at Peshawar on Friday night. Consul General of Iran, Hassan Darvesh Wand and President Peshawar Press Club, Saiful Islam Saifi also addressed on the occasion.
The Minister said that Iran was our brother Islamic state having exemplary ties which were being strengthened with each passing day. He said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran should be applied in all the countries particularly Muslim states as it was fully protected the rights of all without any discrimination and provide equal opportunities of progress. It was his utmost desire to have a developed Pakistan like Iran, he added.
Expressing his views on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), Mian Iftikhar said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the only greatest and revolutionary personality on the earth, who brought historic revolution in a short span of time. He always preached love, peace, brotherhood and balance in all spheres of life. Speaking on unity week, the Minister said that today unity of Muslims was the need of the hour as the enemies were promoting sectarianism for their ulterior motives.
