Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) Director Riaz Khan Pasha has said that government had allocated rupees one billion for the promotion of cottage industry and for the uplift of skilled persons in rural as well as urban areas.
Delivering his speech at a meeting of Women Entrepreneurs Committee of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) chaired by Mian Anis A Sheikh President of the Chamber here on Thursday, he said that interest free loans upto Rs 50,000 would be advanced which could be returned in easy instalment of Rs 2000 per month, adding those loans would be issued on personal surety.
Convenor of the Committee Mian Mughis Ahmed Sheikh said the government should provide equal opportunities to the women to introduce their products in the festivals, exhibitions, and fairs being organised in big cities of Pakistan or in other countries.
