Commodities prices maintained rising trend for the third day in a row on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai gained Rs 125 to Rs 2500 due to strong demand by consumers, other items retained the overnight levels in process of slow business, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh low type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 4200 while the better type picked up Rs 100 to Rs 4300, Irri-white (broken) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2400-2500, they said. Only change was seen on the seeds sector as Til low type gained Rs 200 to Rs 3380 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 3500, they said.
