Vietnamese robusta were offered at premiums to London futures for the first time since early February after farmers held back their stocks, while roasters sought to buy Indonesian beans at a bargain, dealers said on Friday.
Vietnam's grade 2, 5 percent black and broken robustas were quoted at premiums of $10 to $20 to London's May contract, versus discounts of up to $30 last week. The beans were last offered at premiums in early February.
