The three-day Women Spring extravaganza concluded here on Sunday with the participation of women from all walks of life to display and buy the products created by craftswomen.
Female entrepreneurs and rural women displayed colorful stalls featuring handmade products like fashion accessories, jewellery, embroidered dresses, garments related to children, handbags, home textiles, nail art, interior decors, herbal cosmetics and formal and casual wears.
The event was organised to provide respectful earning for the rural class and create a perfect extravaganza for buyers on reasonable prices, said Lubna Shahbaz, organiser of the show while talking to APP.
The products were created by the craftswomen with the aim of empowering women and their communities by empowering them economically, she said.
The craftswomen were trained in vocational centers and some were self-taught with the skills of creating items according to the fashion needs in order to get better sales and income generation.
