MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) had recovered bills of over Rs 8.9 billions from consumers with recovery ratio of 107.86 percent during the last month of December 2017.
According to Mepco office sources, ratio of recovery from consumers has been increased due to correct meter reading as complaints of consumers regarding over billing and wrong meter reading have been resolved under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer Mepco Engineer Muhammad Akram Chaudhry.
The source said that Mepco administration facilitating its consumers by sending electricity related details through SMS.
The recovery ratio in Multan circle was recorded 106.04 percent, in DG Khan circle 107.77 pc, Vehari 112.60 pc, Bahawalpur 105.13 pc, Sahiwal 107.20 pc, Rahim Yar Khan 105,39 pc, Muzaffargarh 111.11 pc, Bahawalnager 109.86 and recovery ratio of 110.85 percent recorded in Khanewal circle, sources added.
