The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) employees have ended their four-day strike and resumed their duties in the Lahore region, a Nadra spokesman said, here on Sunday. The spokesman said that Nadra registration offices in the district of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Nankana, Qasur, and Okara have reopened and started their normal work.
The spokesman said that Nadra felt sorry for the inconvenience the people suffered during the employees' partial strike in connection with registration/ documentation of their computerised Identity Cards. He said Nadra is committed to serve the people at their doorsteps and mobile registration teams are also operating in the rural to achieve this objective
