Three more fall prey to targeted killings

At least three persons were killed in separate targeted killing incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Sunday.
According to police, a 34-year-old man namely Mohammad Ibrahim son of Mohammad Hussain was sprayed with bullets by unidentified men when he was sitting in a shop located in Bukhari Town, Orangi Town. Resultantly, he received fatal bullet wounds and died on the spot. Police said the victim, who was watchman by his profession, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy. Following the said incident, tension prevailed in the locality where all shops and markets were closed due to uncertain situation. No case was registered till filing of this report.
Despite the heavy contingent of police and Rangers were deployed in the area to bring situation in control. Another disabled man namely Abdul Karim son of Moj Khan was killed at Ali Garh colony, Orangi Town. Police said the deceased, who was shifted to ASH, was disabled person and lived in a house 1/11 located in Ali Garh colony. No case was registered till filing of this report.
Similarly, a 30-year-old man namely Zubair son of Shabir Ahmad lost his life in a drive-by shooting in the limits of Azizabad police station. The incident took place at La Jawab Bakery located in Azizbad where the victim was targeted when he was sitting in his bakery. Police said the deceased was the resident of Raja Tanveer Colony located in sector 11 1/2 of Orangi Town. A case (59/12) was registered on the complaint of his father Shabir against unidentified culprits.
