Acting vice chancellor assures SU officers of protecting rights

Sindh University Officers Welfare Association has requested the Acting Vice Chancellor not to ignore the officers while making any change among sectional heads without any reason and showed their concern on rumours for further changes by assigning responsibility to faculty on various posts.
The university officers also requested the acting vice chancellor that officers are key stakeholders of the university authorities, therefore, the authority should not assigned administrative responsibilities to the faculty because they feel their rights unprotected and ignorance and their line of promotion can be blocked. The SU Welfare Association delegation led by Muhammad Nawaz Narejo President and Ghulam Nabi Kaka Secretary General meet with acting Vice Chancellor Dr Parveen Shah in her office on Tuesday.
The officers assured all co-operation to the acting Vice Chancellor in the interest of the University. They said that officers always performed their duties honestly by realising the important part of administration in every situation.
The officers also submitted their presentation regarding up gradation of the officers posts as per policy as posts upgraded of the employees and faculty members by the University. The acting Vice Chancellor assured the officers that their rights will be protected and their all genuine demands will be fulfilled and problems will be resolved.
