Dialogue on education standards organised

Sindh Manik Moti Tanzeem organised a dialogue on education: 'Ways for its improvement and reasons of decreasing of education standards,' at Gymkhana Hyderabad on Monday evening. Speaking on the occasion, noted intellectual Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo highlighted historical reasons towards ignorant to education by community and the government.
He said that corruption in each sector from lower level to higher level was the main reasons behind degrading of education standard from primary to higher level. He said serious efforts were needed on part of the all stakeholders of the society including government for improvement of education at every level. He said teachers were key stakeholders and they should perform their due role for improvement of education.
Isra University Chancellor Dr Asadullah Kazi said that only practical efforts could help in improvement of education. He also highlighted the problems of education, and appreciated dedicated efforts of Mehran TV for promotion of education in the province. Ghulam Nabi Morai speaking on the occasion said that on this stage collective efforts were only way which could help towards improvement of education sector.
He said the government was not sincere nor the community, intellectuals and educationists, adding that "we must realise the duty for the improvement of the education standards." Hameed Sindhi emphasised the primary education in the mother tongue and said that providing of education to children in their mother language was prime for the improvement of standards of the lower education. Inam Shaikh while blaming society for decreasing level of primary education said that whole society was responsible for it, and suggested that for the improvement of education standards every one should have to fulfil their duties.
