Chief minister Punjab holds meeting with BCB delegation

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the people would get an opportunity of enjoying cricket of international standard on the proposed tour of Bangladesh cricket team to Pakistan. He said that the visit of Bangladesh team would further strength the cordial relations between the two countries.
He was presiding over a meeting to review security arrangements for the proposed tour of Bangladesh cricket team here on Sunday. President Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Mustafa Kamal also attended the meeting along with his delegation. Provincial Home Secretary Shahid Khan, Inspector General Punjab Police Haji Habib-ur-Rehman and other senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
Shahbaz said that the visit of Bangladesh team would be helpful in promotion of sports in the country. He assured the Bangladeshi delegation that foolproof security arrangements would be made for the visiting team.
The President Bangladesh Cricket Board thanked the Pakistani government and Cricket Board for allowing the Pakistani players to participate in Bangladesh Premier League.
He said that the visit of Bangladesh team would be helpful in revival of international cricket in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Punjab Governor Latif Khosa also met the Bangladesh cricket delegation.
