KARACHI: The US State Department has said that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not threaten Pakistan over Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, rather stated US stance on the project, a private TV channel reported late Thursday night. State Department Spokesperson Victoria Noland in press briefing told reporter that the Secretary of State only stated the US stance on IP gas pipeline project and there was no threat for Pakistan.
She said that the US was well aware of Pakistan energy crisis. However, she added, in the current situation IP gas pipeline project was not prudent.
