Congressman meets Pakistani-American community leaders

Congre-ssman Howard L Berman, Ranking Member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee held a meeting with Asian-Americans Pacific Islanders including leaders of Pakistani-American community in Los Angeles California. The President of the Council of Pakistan American Affairs asked the Congressman about the sovereignty of Pakistan and its borders. The Congressman assured President of COPAA that United States supports Pakistan's security and territorial integrity.
The Congressman said that he looks forward to stabilising the relationship with Pakistan and moving forward with improving textile exports of Pakistan will help the economy of Pakistan. The Congressman asked the leaders of Pakistani origin that he would like to hold meetings with the Pakistani-Americans living in the US and clear misunderstandings that have risen between the two friendly countries. The meeting was attended by President of COPAA Adnan Khan, Metals & More Incorporated, Pakistan Link CEO Arif Mansuri, CEO EtchLite Technology Arshad Kazmi and representing Chinese-Americans Professor Dr Baizhu Chen.-PR
