Adrian K. Wood Regional Director of the Renewable Energy Divi-sion for Siemens in the Middle East will deliver a key note address at the inaugural session of the 27th annual multi-topic symposium of the Institution of Electrical and electronics engineers in Karachi next week. The theme of his address will be energy crisis in Pakistan and the role renewable can play to improve the situation.
Adrian formerly President and CEO of Siemens in the Philippines, has held a number of senior and managerial positions within Siemens in Germany and Bahrain, including CEO of Siemens Bahrain. Adrian is also a founding member of the Emirates Solar Industry Association, a non-profit organisation, which brings together stakeholders across the UAE's solar industry to expand, strengthen and facilitate business opportunities in the region.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Siemens Pakistan Ali Hamdani will be the chief guest at the concluding session of the two-day international symposium, which attracts policy makers, academia, students and business leaders from across the country.-PR
