District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Ahad Khan Cheema has said all arrangements have been finalised to welcome Mayor of Istanbul, Kadir Topbas and his 24-member delegation on Sunday (tomorrow). All arrangements have been finalised and responsibilities have been assigned to various departments in this regard, he said while presiding over a meeting held on Friday to review the arrangements, disclosed an official.
The DCO informed the meeting that the Turkish delegation would stay in Lahore for two days and would attend various functions. He said a warm welcome would be accorded to the delegation at the Lahore airport while the city roads would be beautifully decorated with colourful buntings, banners, hoarding and flags of Pakistan and Turkey.
