Sindh police on Saturday claimed to have arrested an alleged kidnapper and recovered a captive from his possession from Sadi Town area. According to police, the Gulshan Iqbal and Malir Cantt police have arrested an alleged kidnaper namely Abbas and recovered an eight-year-old boy namely Muhammad Yasin son of Sarfaraz in a joint raid at Sadi Town area.
They said the victim was abducted from Zia-ul-Haq colony on Friday and the kidnapper during initial course of investigation confessed to have abducted his neighbour's son Yasin to get a ransom of Rs 0.5 million. A case of kidnapping (144/12) was registered in Gulshan police station and further investigation was underway.
