Canada and Brazil are both dealing with upward currency pressure and should work together at Group of 20 talks to promote exchange rate adjustments, Bank of Canada Senior Deputy Governor Tiff Macklem said on Monday. Brazil has been helpful in bringing attention to problems with global foreign exchange adjustments, Macklem said after a speech to the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo.
