Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) would provide one-window facility to the industrialists enabling them to invest in various fields and help improve the economic activities in the province. This was stated by Dr Miftah Ismail, Vice-Chairman of Investment and Trade, while presiding over a meeting at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Dr Miftah Ismail said that vast investment opportunities are available for livestock, energy and agriculture and information technology in Punjab. He said that we could improve our economy by investing huge money in these sectors. He said that especially the agriculture and livestock sectors could be flourished by making huge investment in these two vital sectors. He said that besides providing assistance to the local investors we are also providing opportunities to the foreign investors in Punjab.
He mentioned that the Punjab government has started effective steps against gas and electricity outage and load shedding. DG Habib Gilani also gave a multi-media briefing to the participants of the meeting and elaborated in details the investment opportunities in various sectors, the investment opportunity, annual profit and other benefits of the projects.
Earlier, President FCCI Muzammal Sultan highly appreciated the role of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade for industrial activities in the province. Later, Vice-Chairman Dr Miftah was awarded FCCI shields as a token of his role for augmentation of industrial activities and attracting investment by local and foreign investors.
