Higher prices kept leading buyers on the sidelines on the wholesale grain and seed market on Monday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side, guwar Sindh and Punjab were sharply higher by Rs 600 to Rs 30000-31000, gur low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 4400 while the best type was lower by Rs 500 to Rs 5000, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
Only one change was witnessed on the seed counter, where cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh inferior type shed Rs 50 to Rs 400 while the good type was higher by Rs 75 to Rs 775, they said. Grams and rice sectors retained the weekend levels, they said.
