Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon may be sighted tomorrow

The new Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon may be sighted tomorrow (Friday), according to astronomical parameters. Therefore, the first of Jamadi-ul-Awwal, 1433 AH may fall on Saturday. The moon will cross the conjunction line today (Thursday) at 1937 Pakistan Standard Time (PST). The sunset tomorrow will be at 1845 PST, and the evening civil twilight (ECTL) will be at 1905 PST.
The moon will set at 1930 PST. Thus the age of the new moon will be 23 hours and 31 minutes at ECTL. It will set 45 minutes after sunset and 25 minutes after ECTL. At ECTL the moon will be at an altitude of four degrees and two minutes. It will be at an azimuth of 278 degrees and six minutes.
At sunset the moon will be at an altitude of eight degrees and 57 minutes. It will be at an azimuth of 275 degrees and 46 minutes. Therefore, there is a chance of sighting the Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon tomorrow. The weather is expected to be fair.
