Bears dominated the proceedings on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 47.68 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,790.39 to 2,742.71 points. The overall turnover amounted to 84,054 shares as compared to previous turnover of 291,429 shares.
Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (70) closed in negative territory, 63 landed in plus column and no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of NIB Bank was 49,990 shares. The volume of D G Khan Cement was 10,100 shares. The turnover of Byco Petroleum was 9,784 shares.
