KU introduces Fulbright Scholarship for MA, PhD

Karachi University has introduced Fulbright Scholarship for Master and PhD with a view to fulfil the requirements of this rapidly changing world Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi said this while addressing an informative seminar organised to inform students about the Fulbright Award of United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan.
Fulbright is the flagship fellowship award programme of the States Department of US. Fulbright award funds graduate study in the US for a Master's or PhD degree, including tuition, required text books, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance.
USEFP also assist with the visa experience. USEFP Programme Officer - Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, informed the audience that in order to win the scholarship for Maters and PhD programme, education of 16 and 18 years is required, respectively. A GRE or TOFEL score of 136 (verbal) and 138 (quantitative) is compulsory. He added that those bearing dual nationality or have already availed a scholarship were ineligible for the programme.
