Rao Qamar made new managing director PIA

The federal government has appointed Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman (Retd) as new Managing Director Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) with immediate effect. Rao Qamar retired on March 18, 2012 from Air Force on completion of three years tenure. The out-going MD PIA, Captain Nadeem Khan Yousufzai has been appointed Director General Civil Aviation Authority.
In another move, the government has also replaced Chief Secretary Balochistan Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri. Secretary Kashmir Affairs, Babar Yaqoob Fateh Munhammad has been appointed new chief secretary.
