US MIDDAY: soya slips

US soyabean futures slipped from a six-month high o n T uesday as traders booked profits ahead of highly anticipated crop reports due at the end of the week. Soyabeans for May delivery dipped 6-1/2 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $13.73 a bushel by 10:45 am CDT (1545 GMT) at the Chicago Board of Trade. Corn futures were little changed, with the May contract rising 3/4 cent, or 0.1 percent, to $6.38-1/2 a bushel.
CBOT May wheat was down 1-3/4 cents, or 0.30 percent, at $6.57-3/4 a bushel.
