Sindh Assembly body to discuss drinking water shortage in Karachi today

Sindh Assembly's Standing Committee on Local Government would discuss the matter of shortage of drinking water in Karachi on Thursday (today) during its meeting. Sources said that the meting of Standing Committee on Local Government would be held here with Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi in the chair at the committee room-2 of Assembly building.
The committee would discuss the issue of shortage of drinking water in Karachi and would prepare a report, which would be submitted to the Assembly for further action, the sources said. The committee would also look into the matter pertaining to 2000 CNG buses funded by the Federal Government, which arrived in Karachi and are lying idle with the defunct CDGK. The Standing Committee on Works and Services would also meet on Thursday at the committee room-2 of assembly building to discuss various issues related to Works and Services department, sources said.
