The Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF), a subordinate body of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran is organising a mass marriage ceremony here on April 1, Sunday in the premises of Minhaj University. Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa would be chief guest on this occasion, said Director MWF Iftikhar Shah Bukhari here on Thursday.
As many as 24 couples hailing from various towns of the Punjab province will be tied the knot in the ceremony, he added. He said that 24 applications including 4 of orphans and 3 of christians have been accepted after a scrutiny.
