Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday attended the valima ceremony of the son of Awami National Party chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan at a local hotel here. On arrival, the Prime Minister was received by Asfandyar Wali and Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti.
The Prime Minister felicitated the ANP chief on the marriage of his son, Aimal Wali Khan. Gilani greeted Aimal Wali and extended best wishes for his matrimonial life. Minister for Interior Rehman Malik, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi, Former Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, parliamentarian Raja Pervez Ashraf and Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar were present in the ceremony. The event was also attended by a number of politicians from different political parties including Pakistan Muslim League (Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
