Egyptian CJ visits Federal Judicial Academy

During his visit to Federal Judicial Academy here on Monday, Egyptian Chief Justice Mohamed Hossam Elddin El-Gheriany lauded active role of the academy in imparting judicial education, saying that judicial academies in both the brotherly countries must benefit from each other's expertise, experience, skill, judicial wisdom and knowledge.
According to a press release issued here, Parvaiz Ali Chawla, DG of the Academy briefed him about the genesis, teaching and training methodologies at the Academy. He was also briefed about the mission and vision of the Academy and above all the keen interest of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and dedication and devotion of two Judges In-charges including Justice Mian Shakriaurllah Jan, Judge In-charge (Administration) and Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Judge In-charge (Academics) in developing the Academy into a unique university of the country called "Federal University of Law and Judicial Administration".
Justice Al-Gheriany extremely appreciated the teaching methodologies being used in the training and for intellectualisation of the judges at the Academy, the aims and objectives, mission and vision of the Academy, the collection of books and research journals at the FJA Library.-PR
