Bhutto's death anniversary today

The 33rd death anniversary of founder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will be observed on Wednesday (April 4). The main ceremony will be held in Garhi Khuda Bux, the final resting place of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who sacrificed his life for democracy instead of bowing down to a dictator.
Thousands of Bhutto lovers including senior PPP leaders have started reaching Larkana, Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bux to attend the anniversary. Every street of Garhi Khuda Bux has been decorated with PPP flags and banners inscribed with slogans "Jeay Bhutto" and "Zinda Hai BB Zinda Hai".
The day long ceremonies in Garhi Khuda Bux will start with Qur'an Khawani at the mausoleum of the PPP founder on Wednesday morning. Sindh Police will ensure extra-security measures for foolproof security arrangements on the occasion. "Blanket cover by the police is a need of the hour to tackle any security situation," a provincial government official said adding, elaborated security measures have been made and Sindh government has deployed policemen for vigilance.
Besides that Rangers and Commandos will also be deployed. The official said the scanners have been installed at the entry point and visitors were being frisked if required. The organising committee has set up separate camps for the accommodation and reception of workers and leaders arriving here from across the country. The Sindh and Balochistan governments have announced a public holiday on the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 4, across the province.
