The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken strict security measures at the FBR House from April 3, around two months before the announcement of the federal budget (2012-2013) to block any leakage. In this connection, the FBR has issued a circular on the budget arrangements for 2012-2013 here on Tuesday.
According to the FBR's instructions, in view of the on-going budget exercise for the year 2012-13, all the officers/officials are requested to pin their Office Identity Cards on shirt's pocket without fail. Non-compliance of the instructions shall be seriously viewed and dealt accordingly, FBR added. It is worth mentioning that the FBR has issued budget circular on April 3, i.e. around two months prior to the announcement of the budget.
