KPT donates Rs four million to ill-fated family for liver transplant

In continuation to the announcement made earlier by Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri and the KPT administration for providing sustenance to Momina Saeed, 41/2 years aged daughter of Saeed Ahmed Rajput, suffering from chronic liver disease; the officers and employees of Karachi Port Trust has contributed four million rupees for liver transplant which at present is not available in Pakistan.
The sustenance provided by the officers and employees of KPT will enable Saeed Ahmed Rajput to seek cure for his daughter from abroad. KPT Chairman Muhammad Aslam Hayat accompanying Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri has presented a cheque on Thursday to Saeed Ahmed Rajput, the father of Momina Saeed.
The donation became possible due to collective efforts of all the officers and employees of KPT towards the cause. KPT administration which has earlier on many occasions contributed towards social welfare causes has again stood firm the grounds to keep the hopes alive of the ill fated family.-PR
