08 Apr, 2012

Central General Secretary Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that his party will oppose reopening of routes for Nato supplies. He said that PML-Q had already proposed to the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) to get the drone attacks stopped in exchange of reopening of Nato supply routes.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, he said that Nato could be allowed to use routes for supplying only food and medicines. Regarding the US announcement of $10 million bounty on Hafiz Saeed's head, he said that US announcement was aimed to please India and undermine the Kashmir issue. He said that Hafiz Saeed was not involved in any case and allegations levelled against him were totally baseless. He said that the US was worried about united stand of ruling and opposition parties on restoration of Nato supply.
