The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has cut the supply of gas to industrial, fertiliser and power generation sectors, including KESC, citing a shortage of gas. The SSGC spokesperson on Sunday said that the gas company was receiving 180mmcfd gas less from the Bhit Gas Filed because of a technical fault. The KESC, which was being supplied 200mmcfd by SSGC, will now get 155mmcfd. The company said the gas supply to KESC would normalise after four days.
