'Pakistani students among world's most intelligent'

Pakistani students like Arfa Karim and Sitara are among world's most intelligent people, Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar, a PML-N MPA, said on Sunday. Addressing a prize distribution ceremony at the Tech Educational Welfare Centre in Lahore, he said that if students worked with devotion and dedication, they would be able to play an effective role in national development.
Qayyum Nizami, former minister of state, Abdul Majeed Khan, Mian Sajjad Hameed, and Dr Waqar Ahmed, also distributed prizes among students securing top positions in various classes. Malik announced a donation of Rs500,000 for imparting free high school education to children of low-income workers He also assured that service lanes of Tech, Alpha and PCSIR societies would be broadened. Tableaus, national songs and folk dances were performed by students and were appreciated by the audience.
