The Board of Directors of the Lahore Stock Exchange has suspended the membership of Y.S. Securities and Services Private Limited. The investors brought in the notice of the LSE management that all the branch offices of Y.S. Securities and Services were been closed without settling their accounts.
The member under the Regulation No 10 of the Regulations Governing LSE Members' Offices/Branch offices for conducting business and trading of shares and securities within and outside the Exchange was required to give notice in writing and should keep open offices for a period of one month for the disposal of pending matters. As such, the member did not comply with the relevant clause of the Regulations. The LSE Board while exercising powers under Regulation 9 decided to suspend the membership.
