Tension prevailed in several parts of the city after the strike call given by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) here on Tuesday against the post-mortem report of late Bashir Qureshi. All Sindhi dominated areas including Steel Town, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Safora Goth and Sacchal Goth engulfed in wave of tension where miscreants took to streets and resorted to heavy aerial firing to suspend all commercial and social activities in the said areas.
The miscreants also torched a garbage truck near meteorological department.
