The former member of famous British boy band ‘One Direction’, Zayn Malik, has surprised everyone with his latest announcement that he has recorded his first Hindi song for a Bollywood movie.
This week there has been a lot of firsts for the ‘Dust till Dawn’ singer alone as the pop star posed for ‘Elle’, an Indian magazine’s cover page, for the first time. In the same magazine, Zayn also announced his debut in Bollywood music industry by recording his first song for a Indian movie.
Talking about the lyrics and music of the song, Zayn disclosed, "It is one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is."
Giving the details about his second album after ‘Mind of Mine’, the singer said, "There’s definitely a lot of Urdu, some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song."

Zayn also got candid about meeting Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. "I personally wasn’t a huge fan until I met him. I realized how humble he is, really showed a different side to him. He always came across as slightly arrogant in the movies to me, but when I met him in real life, he was so nice. He just completely changed my opinion of him," Pink Villa quoted Zayn.
