Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Secretary-General Raza Haroon termed Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chief Farooq Sattar as twelfth player in his own party.

According to local media reports, Haroon said that what had unfolded last night regarding the MQM-P session seemed suspicious. He added that MQM-P workers were fighting for the ticket and will go as far as to slit each others throats.

He further said that his party doors were always open for the MQM-P leaders who were not getting a ticket.

Meanwhile, MQM-P leader Kamran Tessori said he is ready to sacrifice himself and will abide whatever Sattar decides in the interest of the party.

Dr Farooq Sattar to make ‘major disclosure’ in MQM-P meeting today

Earlier, Sattar and senior leader Amir Khan had disagreed in their decision of electing names of candidates for the Senate elections, local media reported. Sattar had wanted to nominate Tessori as a candidate on one of the Senate general seats. However, other members had rebelled against him. After the session, Sattar and his supporters left the party’s office.

Later, Sattar called his party members for an important meeting on Tuesday (today), in which he will be making a ‘major disclosure’.
