At least seven passengers lost their lives including two women and ten injured in a deadly road accident near Shah Maqsood area in Haripur on early Wednesday, police said. According to details, a passenger bus and a wagon met a head-on collision due to slippery roads and over-speeding, caused by heavy rainfall, leaving seven passengers dead and another ten injured. Two among dead are women, rescuers said.
Police, rescuers and medics have managed to reach the accident site and shifted the bodies and injured to hospital, rescuers and medics said that some injured were in critical conditions. The investigations of the incident have been started.
