The Social Welfare Society at the Commecs Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences (CIBES) organized an event for collecting donations for the disabled, at their Sharah-e-Faisal campus, Karachi. The affair was held in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of the Blind, recently. "Helping the disabled is the corporate and social responsibility of all those who have the ability to do so," said CIBES Director Arif Dossal on the occasion.
The Registrar and Deputy Director of the institute, Yousuf Khan, said that CIBES is a non-profit entity. "We are ready to support all noble causes for the development of a better society." "We are trying to make visually impaired people respectable and productive members of the society," said Team Head Pakistan Association of the Blind, Mehmood Ali. He also appreciated the role of CIBES in this regard.
The Director Quality Enhancement and Research CIBES, Dr Rafique Ahmad Khan presented a donation cheque to team Head Pakistan Association of the Blind, Mehmood Ali and his team. At the end, Program Manager CIBES Khalid Wahab thanked the management and students of CIBES and the PAB team for their interest and participation for the noble cause.-PR
