Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited announced the appointment of Caroline Abbassy as the head of human resources (HR). In her new role, Caroline will be responsible for the strategy, development and management of the Bank's Human Resources in Pakistan.
Caroline brings with her 33 years of experience. Her most recent role was the head of Human Resources Barclays new Markets and Retail, based out of Dubai. Her career has spanned across banking and HR roles within the Barclays Group.
Mohsin Nathani, Chief Executive of Standard Chartered Pakistan said, "Caroline is a professional and experienced HR Director. She has managed large transformational people programmes across multiple geographies. Her appointment will drive and grow our Human Resources capabilities."
