PML-N criticises expansion in federal cabinet

14 Apr, 2012

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday criticised the government for expansion in the federal cabinet, terming the move a clear violation of the 18th Constitutional Amendment. While reacting to induction of five more federal ministers and six ministers of states, PML-N Central Secretary Information, Senator Mushahidullah Khan said the expansion in the cabinet proved that the ruling alliance had no interest to resolve problems being faced by the masses.
He said the induction of more ministers in the cabinet would further burden the national exchequer and the move would not benefit the people. He asked the Prime Minister to tell the nation as to what improvement he would make in governance with induction of more ministers. "The track record of the government is obvious and corruption will increase with the increase in the number of ministers", he maintained, adding the whole country was in darkness due to power outages and the rulers instead of taking any remedial measures were busy in pleasing their allies using money from public exchequer.
