15 Apr, 2012

Newly-appointed General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Punjab Aziz-ur-Rehman Chun has vowed to recapture the slot of Chief Minister Punjab in upcoming elections. He said PPP had been stronghold in Punjab since 1970 and it had the capacity to capitalise the potential through hard work and pro-people agenda.
He had recently been appointed General Secretary Punjab by the party high command for the province of Punjab. Chun has also won elections about two decades back and he was supposed to be very close to party's central general secretary Jehangir Badar. The party workers have high hopes from his leadership, as they believe that Chun has been from among the workers and he understands the needs of party workers. Chun said the PML-N and the PTI could not hinder the win of PPP despite making joint efforts in next elections.
