Leader of different political parties from Kasur including former MPAs, district nazim, UC nazims, councillors and others joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) here on Monday. The delegation of new entrants led by Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan and announced their joining of the party.
According to a PTI spokesperson, the delegation announced joining the party and reposed complete confidence in the leadership of PTI. On the occasion, Imran Khan congratulated Khurshid Kasuri and welcomed the delegation into PTI's fold. It is important to mention here that this is a second group of influential politicians, who joined the party under the leadership of Kasuri.
The new entrants included five-time MPA from Kasur Haji Ghulam Sabir Ansari, former MPA Rubina Ansari, former District Nazim Kasur Haji Maqsood Sabir Ansari, Chairman Jamiat-ul-Ansar Kasur Haji Ahsan Ahmed Sabri, former president PML-N Kasur, former Nazim UC-8 Kasur, former Nazim UC-11 and others.
On the occasion, Haji Ghulam Sabir Ansari and other leaders praised Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri for the exemplary development carried out in Kasur during his tenure. The leaders also praised the leadership of PTI for taking bold stands on various economic and political issues.
